Body Studies: Encounters with Art and Education

This book is a beautiful compendium of artists and researchers intertwining the fields of Education and Arts together. With the Wagner Ferraz as an editor, I co-edited, introduced, reviewed, and wrote a chapter on Rainer Maria Rilke and the experience of solitude among digital media.

“BODY STUDIES: Encounters with Art and Education” is a result from the meetings of the research group also titled Body Studies, a partnership of “PROCESS C3: Collective of Various Things” and the publisher INDEPIn. The group activity takes place through a series of encounters where different people study different perspectives on the body. The book consists of texts from the group participants as well as from invited professionals and researchers where the body is treated as a general theme intersecting with: dance, performance, drawing, education, teaching, people with disabilities, sexuality and others.
